MONTECRISTO Spring 2013 Sarah McLachlan   MONTECRISTO magazine is Vancouver's internationally inspired lifestyle quarterly since 2008.

MONTECRISTO collaborates with some of the finest writers, illustrators and photographers working in Vancouver to create an interesting and eclectic editorial mix, including fashion, culture, food, wine, travel, books, art, beauty, business, architecture, design and more. The magazine also puts a particular emphasis on philanthropy and local history, as well as the artisans and craftspeople in Vancouver.

Feature stories have included personalities such as singer/songwriter Sarah McLachlan; author, artist, and public figure Douglas Coupland; Kentucky Derby–winning thoroughbred horse racing jockey Mario Gutierrez; Coast Salish–artist Lawrence Paul Yuxweluptun; a photographic collaboration with Ballet B.C.; designer Jason Wu; renowned modern day explorer, Mike Horn; a Contemporary Art Gallery (Vancouver) retrospective; the Bay president and CEO, Bonnie Brooks; outdoor apparel company, Arc'teryx; visual artist Steven Shearer; the Beaty Biodiversity Museum at the University of British Columbia; Chan Hon Goh, former principal dancer at the National Ballet of Canada and director of the Goh Ballet Academy; and Imran Amed, founder and editor of the blog The Business of Fashion.

MONTECRISTO distributes 30,000 copies per quarter to the metro Vancouver area. It is printed by Rhino Print Solutions on 100 per cent post-consumer paper and was recognized with a silver medal at the 2010 Environmental Printing Awards for the most environmentally progressive print project in Canada and nominated for a National Magazine Award for best Still-Life Photography for “Homestretch” from the Summer 2011 issue.
